Glenn Maxwell’s extended run in the Punjab Kings playing XI came to an end after captain Shreyas Iyer decided to drop the Aussie all-rounder. Maxwell’s form has been poor in IPL 2025, and he was subsequently dropped for Marcus Stoinis for the RCB vs PBKS clash on Friday.

Maxwell picked up 2 wickets with the ball in PBKS’ historic win, but made way for Marcus Stoinis. The Australian all-rounder has been in a dreadful run with bat in hand, scoring 41 runs in 6 IPL 2025 games.
