It is difficult to believe that this is this time of year again. Each year after the draft of the NFL and the release of official schedules, I make my forecast too early. In the past, my forecasts have never been so precise once the season is over and my predictions are equal to the final results but in a few words … it’s fun!
What I did is go through a match per game, week of schedules and has chosen a winner for each competition. Then I totaled the results and bam … We have a final classification. These are done without having any idea of how the new players of the teams will occur, what injuries will occur (and there will be injuries) and what impact veterans change the teams will have on their new clubs.
What I will probably get correct in January are the teams that should go to the playoffs. I may not get their final records exactly, but the following predictions will probably reflect the best teams for the 2025 season. Certain list changes are taken into account, but most of these results are mainly based on the team’s reputation and expectations for the coming season.
NFC
Let’s start with the NFC. Each conference and division will have a brief summary after the scheduled classification.
NFC East
From the top, the Eagles of Philadelphia are reigning division champions and also champions of the Super Bowl. Washington commanders come back strong again and Dallas cowboys with the addition of George Pickens believe they will challenge. While the Giants of New York added a defensive stallion to Abdul Carter, they do not appear in the mixture.

NFC North
The Lions of Detroit were a dominant team in 2024, then arrived at the playoffs and did not reach the goal of each team … The Super Bowl. Now they come back determined with the defensive star Aiden Hutchinson of the injury. The Vikings seemed to be one of the best NFC teams, but they also failed in the playoffs. Now, it’s JJ McCarthy’s race in the quarter-Arrière with Sam Darnold Gone, and no one knows what to expect. Green Bay was another team of playoffs and that leaves the Chicago Bears with a new head coach to Ben Johnson.

NFC South
Can Baker Mayfield continue his exceptional game for a third consecutive season in Tampa? Bucs await it well. Atlanta Falcons will spend a full season with Michael Penix under the center while Kirk Cousins continues to try to understand where he can be a starter again. New Orleans’ saints watched Derek Carr retire and the panthers are continuing.

NFC West
After having traveled the entire NFL calendar, this division came out with the strangest results. I am sure that the following predictions will not be the final figures, but for me at first glance, that’s what I found. The Rams will probably be the best team and disputed by the 49ers while they are trying to make a strong return with the new Brock Purdy contract. Cardinals and Seahawks should be competitive. I have the four teams finished with the same record.

AFC
AFC is
This division has belonged to Buffalo Bills for several years because the other three teams have not been able to challenge them. Dolphins have had players’ problems, the patriots are still rebuilding with Mike Trébel back in the team now as a head coach. The jets hope that they finally found a quarter of a franchise at Justin Fields.

AFC North
The Baltimore Ravens will be back for another solid season, but their challenge is finally to arrive at the Super Bowl with Lamar Jackson opening the way. In Cincinnati Joe Burrow, his wide receiver weapons come back and if they can improve defense, they will be a threat. The Browns overloaded the quarter-arre with Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett and two recruits, so it remains to be seen who is the start of the opening day. As for my Pittsburgh steelers, when writing this document, they are still waiting on Aaron Rodgers and most of the Steelers Nation, including myself, do not approve of this prosecution. The Steelers will always be competitive, but they face another difficult schedule, so that does not bode well for them.

AFC South
While the Jacksonville jaguars have written the most dangerous prospect of 2025 in Travis Hunter, the Titans used their first global choice and wrote the best outgoing quarter of the university in Cam Newton. Newton and his bravado already turn off fans. The colts called on ex-Manager Daniel Jones to compete with Anthony Richardson, which will provide a quarter-Arrière training camp. Then there is the title champion in title Texans. This division could be the most intriguing among all in the NFL this season.

AFC West
The Kansas City chiefs failed to finish a three peat in 2024, but they are still the dominant AFC team. Will they be challenged for the title of division this coming season? Perhaps the loads could be a threat, and the Broncos de Denver may very well continue to improve. The raiders brought Geno Smith to be a quarter-back, and he finds head coach Pete Carroll out of his retirement to walk again on the sidelines.

As I said, do not put your money on any of these predictions. It was done for fun and if I nail one of the files … so much the better. That said, come back during the season, because as I did last year, every week of the season, my match forecasts per match will be published here on abstract sports.
