The Punjab Kings defended the lowest total in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL) while they beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 16 points in a fascinating match in Mullanpur on Tuesday. Chasing 112 for a victory, KKR was comfortably placed at 71 for 3 in 9.1 Overs, but they suffered a sensational collapse to be overthrown for 95 in 15.1 overs. KKR lost seven counters and only scored 24 points in six letters after that.
The Yuzvendra Chahal’s hazards spinner was the main architect of Punjab’s improbable victory with its excellent 4/28 figures. He took the crucial counters of Ajinkya Rahane (17), Angkrish Raghuvanshi (37), Rinku Singh (2) and Ramandeep Singh (0) to orchestrate KKR trouble – the last two in consecutive bullets in the 12th.
The victory made a wide smile on the face of the co -owner of PBKS, Preity Zinta, and she celebrated the victory with the PBK player. She went in her arms Yuzvendra Chahal for her big bowling against Kkr.

The Marco Jansen stimulator collected three counters for 17 points while Xavier Bartlett, Glenn Maxwell and Arshdeep Singh obtained one while KKR allowed the PBK to remove a victory from the jaws of the defeat.
The lowest the lowest defended total was 116 by Chennai Super Kings against the Kings XI Punjab of the time in 2009.
Sunil Narine (5) was looking for her characteristic explosive beginning, but Jansen had other ideas because he was cleaned by the South African. It was the beginning that the Punjab was looking for and he further improved because Xavier Bartlett obtained the other Kock (2) Quinton opener in the next one.
Captain of KKR Rahane maintained the sleeves together for a while with Raghuvanshi, digging in his vast national and international experience.

The match seemed to have opened when Venkatesh Iyer was excluded from Maxwell’s LBW in the 11th, the third referee confirming the referee’s decision on the field after a long look.
Chahal then turned the match on his head as he withdrew the dangerous Rinku Singh (2) who was fox by a delivery which sneaned between his bat and his pad for Inglis to make the rest behind the stumps.
He was not arrested by Chahal while he rejected Ramandeep Singh (0) in the next ball to leave KKR to a precarious 76 for 7 in 11.4 Overs.
Jansen joined the party when he forced Rana Rana (0) with a short delivery on which the striker played. Andre Russell did not score in two figures before Tuesday’s match and he was on fire in the 14th finished, reaching two six and four to take 16 points in total.
KKR needed 17 points of six overs, but they only have two counters in hand.
Vaibhav Arora survived five bullets played by Arshdeep Singh, but he offered a simple catch in Inglis in the last ball of the 15th.
Earlier, KKR distributed a clinical bowling alley to bring together the guests of the Punjab kings for only 111 – the third the lowest total of this season of the Indian Premier League here on Tuesday.

Arya (22 out of 12 balls), who struck a hundred sensation to win the Pbks match against Chennai Super Kings, hit two to four on Anrich Nortje in the second to set the sleeve tone for the local team.
Prabhsimran then struck a six and two to four in the next on Bald by Vaibhav Arora, who conceded 20 points.
Rana was greeted by Arya with a six, but the bowling player had the last laugh while the striker fled to Ramandeep Singh.
Captain PBKS informs Iyer was dismissed at the first ball with Ramandeep taking an amazing capture.
