After a serial victory in New York, the San Francisco Giants can take a Philadelphia Phillies set when they continue their 10 game road trips on Thursday afternoon.

The Giants won two of the three games against the Yankees during the weekend and took two of the first three in their four games series with the Phillies.

Mike Yastrzemski, Jung Hoo Lee, Wilmer Flores and Patrick Bailey each made two points in an 11-4 victory on Wednesday while San Francisco improved at 9-3 on the road this season.

“I am asked a lot of questions about resilience,” said Giants manager Bob Melvin. “We have shown that all season. That’s the guys.”

The Giants wasted an advance of 4-2 Wednesday before recovering to mark the last seven points of the match. A large part of their damage came against an unusually wild Aaron Nola, which walked four by lowering at 0-4 this season.

“They are a disjointed team,” said Nola. “They found holes and got good shots. They put me in pressure.”

Meanwhile, Lou Trivino recorded two rounds of relief to win the victory for San Francisco. He combined with Camilo Doval and Spencer Bivens to authorize a single blow on five non -relief frames of Robbie Ray.

“I think this team is very talented,” said Trivino. “It’s great to see the kind of pitch that we have. Just to be part of it, I am very grateful.”

Jordan Hicks (1-1, 5.87 ERA) will aim to continue this theme when he gets the head sign for San Francisco on Thursday. The right-hander that launches harshly gave seven points into four rounds on Saturday in an 8-4 defeat against the Yankees after two productive departures to start its season.

“I feel like I had good things today, has probably launched some fast balls too much,” said Hicks after this match, noting that cold and rainy conditions in New York were among the worst in which he ever did. “I had out -of -speed work, so I should have launched it more and I mixed it better. Live and learn, and go to the next.”

Hicks appeared in 13 career games against the Phillies, but only one start. It is 3-1 with a life of 2.81 against them.

Cristopher Sanchez (1-0, 3.12) will get the ball for Philadelphia while the left-hander seeks to win his second consecutive departure. He beat Saint-Louis 4-1 Saturday, limiting the cardinals to a round and eight strokes on 6 1/3 rounds.

He benefited from the induction of double -play groups in four of the first five heats.

“It also keeps me in the match,” said Sanchez about twin killings. “This is one of the reasons why I was able to stay there until the seventh round. I love double games. Defense did a great job today.”

Sanchez made three appearances (a departure) against the giants of his career, going 1-0 with an MPM of 0.84. The only departure arrived last season when he bleached San Francisco in six rounds in a 6-1 victory on May 29.

After Thursday’s competition, the Giants will go to Anaheim, California, for a three game set against the Los Angeles Angels. The Phillies will welcome the Miami Marlins for a weekend series.
