The Rajasthan Royals (RR) ended up in a new controversy following serious match fixing charges. Jaideep Bihani, the candidate of the ad hoc committee of the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA), questioned the team’s intention and performance in their recent match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).
The Royals of Rajasthan experienced a disappointing race in the 2025 IPL. They had a hard time finding a form despite the maintenance of their hearts of previous seasons. The team led by Sanju Samson has not met expectations and is currently eighth on the table of points at 10 teams, with only two victories in eight games so far.

“The ad hoc committee was appointed by the government of the state in Rajasthan. It has extended for the fifth time. We ensure that all competitions take place without any problem,” said Bihani.
“But then, just as IPL came, the Zila Parishad (District Council) took control of it. For IPL, the BCCI had first sent a letter to RCA, not the Zila Parishad.

Jaideep Bihani has raised new concerns concerning the Royals Rajasthan by bypassing the Rajasthan Cricket Association and by directly dealing the District Council (Zila Parishad) for questions related to the stadiums.
“The excuse given by them and RR is that we do not have an understanding protocol of the Sawai Mansingh stadium. If the protocol is not there, then what? Do you pay Zila Parishad for each match?”
RR failed to continue nine points in the final against the Capitals of Delhi (DC) and ended up losing in a great plus. They will also be missing from Captain Sanju Samson for their next match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on April 24 at Minnaswamy Stadium.

RR began their pursuit of 181 points with Yashasvi Jaiswal (74) and the beginner IPL Vaibhav Suryavanshi (34) adding an 85 -point partnership in just 8.4 Overs. RR only needed 25 points from the last three Overs, with eight seeks in hand. It seemed that an easy victory was on the cards.
