Randy Moss plans to return to ESPN and its role as NFL in “Sunday NFL Countdown” this season, Athletic reported on Tuesday.
Moss, 48, revealed that he had received treatment for cancer that included surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Cancer was found between its pancreas and liver, said Moss last year.
The wide receiver of the renowned professional football temple returned to the set during the Super Bowl in New Orleans and said that it hoped to be back with the full-time crew.
“Randy’s return to the Super Bowl on Sunday was an emotional elevator – not only for our team, but for the entire football community – and knowing that it will resume its complete Sunday countdown program, from week 1, was the culmination of the offseason,” said ESPN in a statement at The Athletic.
ESPN veteran, Mike Greenberg, is organizing the pre-match show with analysts Moss, Rex Ryan, Tedy Bruschi and Alex Smith.
