RCB accused of mismanagement of the IPL champion after Bengaluru Stampede

The former striker of India, Robin Uthapppa Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) won their first IPL title. The double winner of the IPL said that the celebrations around the long -awaited triumph of RCB would be forever overshadowed by the loss of lives.

RCB has raised its title IPL Maiden IPL with a victory Punjab Kings (PBKS) June 3. One day after the victory, a massive crowd gathered in front of Mr. Chinnaswamy’s stadium to celebrate the historic triumph of the team’s IPL. However, a stampede resulted in the death of 11 people and made many others injured.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Robin Uthapppa said that the long -awaited triumph of RCB would still be overshadowed by loss of lives. The former Indian cricket player said that players and fans had been deprived of the chance to celebrate due to the unhappy incident.

“The victory is always spoiled by the loss of the life of the people involved. It is so unhappy that they cannot even celebrate the victory they have obtained after so many years, after so much hard work.”

“It will be spoiled by this and you must therefore feel sad for fans and of course for players,” said Uthappa on his YouTube channel.

I was angry for almost a day – Robin Uthapppa

Robin Uthapppa revealed that he was angry for almost a day after the tragic Stampede. The double winner of the IPL admitted that the organizers should have taken an additional day to better plan the event, adding that Bengaluru really deserved a celebration.

“I was angry for almost a day and I really delayed even that everything was on social networks because I was so angry. In a sense, we were talking about a minimum of balance during the rivalries, we can understand this in the celebrations.

“You really want people to get closer to the team and celebrate with them. I certainly think it could have been better planned, maybe take a day to plan the whole event because the city deserved it, to be very honest,” said Uthapppa.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru had an impressive campaign IPL 2025. The team delivered coherent performances throughout the season, finishing second on the point table with nine victories and 19 points on 14 games.

In particular, RCB has become the first team to win the seven outside games in a single edition. After obtaining a finish among the first two, RCB recorded a victory at eight titles against the kings of Punjab in the qualifier to reserve their place in the final.
