The CICCS Control Council in India (BCCI) has taken important measures on the Bengaluru Logement incident involving the franchise of the Indian Premier (IPL) and the current champions, the Royals Bengaluru (RCB) last month.
The problems of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru are all ready to deepen after the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) held the winners of the IPL 2025 managers of the massive crowd collection which led to the tragic Stampede in Bengaluru, where 11 people lost their lives on June 4.

After CAT’s action, the RCB found itself in difficulty. In fact, the mediator of the BCCI and the ethics officer, the judge (RETD) Arun Mishra, asked the RCB and the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) to submit written responses following an official complaint concerning the tragic Bengaluru Incidentated incident by the agent of IPS Vikas Kumar.
The complaint accuses both RCB and KSCA of serious negligence in the management of the situation of the crowd which led to the jostling in Bengaluru last month. RCB and Ksca both had four weeks to submit their respective declarations to the ombudsman.

The complainant also urged the BCCI mediator to interrupt any sale of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru franchise by its current owners until the Stampede investigation is completed, citing the concerns that it could affect the current probe on the tragic incident last month.
As PTI reported, judge Mishra wrote in his directive: “By examining the gravity of the incident, it is deemed appropriate that the Karnataka (State) Cricket Association, as well as the franchise concerned Royale Bangalore, be invited to submit their written responses to the complaint.”
The directive is also read as follows as follows: “This complaint was filed in relation to the unfortunate Stampede at the stadium of Mr. Chinnaswamy on 04.06.2025. The complaint alleges serious negligence and a violation of security standards by the Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise (RCB). The Stampede case still under investigation, judge Mishra said that the complainant had expressed his concerns that this decision could be an attempt to escape responsibility. In response, the mediator ordered all parties to maintain current property status until the end of the survey.
This decision was made to guarantee transparency and prevent any part from avoiding the potential consequences linked to the tragedy of the Bengaluru log.
