The High Court of Karnataka has ordered the government of the State to share a copy of the situation report on the June 4 jostling at Minnaswamy Stadium from M to Bengaluru. The bench said that confidentiality only applies in cases involving national security, public interest or privacy – none of which was relevant.

The government has also been ordered to provide copies of the report to all parties involved in the case, including the Royal Challengers Bengaluru franchise, the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) and DNA Entertainment Networks, the RCB event partner.

RCB awaits the outcome of an investigation by the Criminal Investigation Service (CID). High officials from Royal Challengers Bengaluru and their event partner, DNA Entertainment Networks, have already submitted their testimonies, but a date of final judgment has not yet been announced.
