
The designated championship / shot player of San Diego Padres, Luis Arraez, was placed on the seven -day injured list in a concussion protocol, one day reported on Monday after a collision to the first goal with Mauricio Dubon of the Houston Astros.
The Padres will promote the interior field player Mason McCoy, 30, to the active list in a corresponding decision, according to San Diego Union-Tribune.
After a late 11 -minute delay in Sunday’s match in Houston, Arraez was fired from the field and taken to a local hospital for a more in -depth assessment, the team announcing during the match that it was “currently stable, aware, reactive and capable of moving its ends”.
Arraez, 28, returned to the stadium and joined the team after the match but did not speak with journalists on the councils of the team’s medical staff.
The hospital examinations excluded a broken jaw, although Arraz has a small laceration. He will remain in the Concrete Brain Protocol on IL.
