The Royal Challengers Bengaluru sealed a dramatic victory against Delhi’s capital in the match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on Sunday. RCB seemed to be in a disturbed place after losing Devdutt Padikkal and the Skipper Rajat Patidar in fast succession. But, Virat Kohli and Krunal Pandya then sewed a support of 119 points for the 4th window to help RCB hunt the lens of 163 points against DC. In doing so, RCB recorded its 6th successive victory outside in the 18th edition of the T20 League, becoming the first team in the history of the League to do so.
RCB had some home problems this campaign, winning only one of the four games, but on the road, the franchise was absolutely unbeatable. The victory with 6 gates against DC was the 6th of RCB on the trot, the result bringing them at the top of the point table.

As for the match, Krunal’s unbeaten 73 helped RCB beat Delhi’s capitals by six counters to move over the Gujarat titans at the top.
Chasing 163 for the victory, Bengaluru slipped to 26-3 before Virat Kohli and Pandya put on the fourth partnership of 119.
Tim David broke 19 steps from five deliveries to ensure the victory with nine bullets to lose at Feroz Shah Kotla Ground in Delhi.
“He (Pandya) can have this impact and we simply expected that he also enters this tournament with the bat,” Kohli said about the Pandya match player, who also took 1-28 with his rotation of the left arm.
“And today it was his day completely and he was absolutely brilliant.”
Kohli compiled 51 measured, while Pandya struck five four and four in a round that moved Delhi’s game away.
It was the sixth victory of Bengaluru, while they and Kohli have been looking for their first IPL title since the creation of the League in 2008.
Bhuvnehwar Kumar and his compatriot rhythm Josh Hazlewood shared five counters with each other to restrict Delhi to 162-8.
In the pursuit, Delhi’s skipper, Axar Patel, opened the bowling alley with his rotation of the left arm and struck two early shots to return the beginner of the IPL of England Jacob Bethell, for 12, and Devdutt Padikkal, for a duck, two balls later.
Bengaluru’s skipper, Rajat Patidar, was exhausted for six, but Kohli and Pandya put Delhi under pressure with occasional limits mixed with a quick race between the counters.
Once adjusted, Pandya unleashed its power and reached its fifty 38 bullets with a four off Axar.
Kohli completed his sixth half-century of the season as he exceeded the Indians of Mumbai, the striker Suryakumar Yadav (427) as a top scorer with 443.
He finally fell to Sri Lanka Fast Bowler Dushmantha Chameera before Pandya and the Australian international David took the team above the line.
