The legendary striker of Sachin Tendulkar India and the former Skipper Surav Ganguly expressed their sorrow at the death of the victims of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. Tendulkar took his official round on social networks and said he was “shocked and deeply saddened” after meeting this horrible incident.
“Shocked and deeply saddened by the tragic attacks against innocent people in Pahalgam. The affected families must go through an unimaginable test – India and the world united with them at this dark hour, while we cry the loss of life and pray for justice,” wrote Sachin Tentulkar on X.

Earlier, the Minister of the Interior of the Union, Amit Shah, met the families of the victims outside the police control room in Srinagar. The Minister of the Interior of the Union paid tribute to the victims of the attack, which had left the cashmere valley and the nation in collective mourning and deep mourning, throwing a crown during a poignant ceremony in Srinagar.

Meanwhile, in solidarity with the families of the victims and the condemnation of the attack, the political parties as well as the unions of traders in the region collectively called for a complete closure in the Kashmir valley.
