Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) brought Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Moeen Ali, while Captain Ajinkya Rahane won the draw and chose to play the first against the Titans of Gujarat Titans (GT) of Gujarat in match 39 of IPL 2025 at Eden Gardens. While GT, the winners of IPL 2022, are comfortably placed at the top of the table of points via five victories of seven games, the reigning champions KKR are in seventh position with three victories and four defeats in seven games. In addition, GT led the head-to-face record against KKR by 2-1.
