After sealing an exciting two -point victory for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) with a brilliant final against the Royals of Rajasthan on Saturday, the Avesh Khan stimulator had a comforting moment which won the admiration of fans nationwide. While its impressive figures – 3 for 37, including a clutch final on nine points – presented its heroic on the field, it was a backstage video published by LSG which really caught everyone’s attention.

In the video, Avesh Khan is seen calling his mother above a video chat after his winning match performance. While emotions were running on the other end, his teammate Nicholas Poornan joined a sincere and thoughtful gesture.

When Avesh’s mother appeared in tears during the video call, Nicholas Pooran teased her slowly, asking: “Why are you crying?”

Avesh translated for his mother, saying: “Mom, he asks why you cry.”

Pooran then added gently: “No crying. Smile, smile, just.”

His affectionate remark, followed by “Beta Good, Beta Bhalo”, made everyone smile and perfectly reflected the emotional and a little united link, shared within the LSG team. Shortly after, Avesh met his family in person, sharing warm hugs with his parents in a comforting moment filled with pride, love and relief.
