After Pahalgam’s terrorist attack, which killed 26 civilians on April 22, the reactions were strong in all neighborhoods. Terrorists of an eminement of Lashkar-E-Taiba opened fire on a group of without distrust tourists in the meadows of Baisaran in Pahalgam, resulting in one of the worst confines with Pakistan. The effect of the incident is also felt on the cricket field.

There have been speculations according to which the CRICKET Control Council in India (BCCI) could write about the ICC, so that India and Pakistan are not grouped in the same group in future future events (such as the World Cup and the Champions Trophy). A Cricbuzz report, however, at the claim.

No major Male ICC event is planned this year. The 2025 Women’s Odi World Cup will be played in India in September-October. Pakistan qualified for the mega event and according to the previous agreements, it will play its games in a neutral place. In the midst of this, the opener of the Women’s team in Pakistan, Gull Feroza, who was part of the team that played in the qualifier of the Women’s World Cup ICC, made a surprising remark.

“We know a lot that we will play in Asian conditions and we do not play in India. This is clear. Nor we are not interested in playing in India either,” she told Pakpassion.

“So wherever it is played – hopefully in Sri Lanka or Dubai – These conditions are similar to those you get in Asia. Qualifications were at home, and the staff have prepared tracks accordingly. Wherever the World Cup games will be played, the conditions will be similar to those we have at home. So our preparation will be ready.”

The BCCI also clearly indicated that it would follow the government directives concerning the cricket game with India. “We are with the victims and we condemn it. All that our government will say, we will do so. We will not play with Pakistan in bilateral series because of the government stand. And we will not play with Pakistan in bilaterals in the future. But when it comes to the ICC, we will play because of the ICC Commitment. ICC is also aware of what happens.
