Anaya Bangar, the former Indian cricket player and the child of coach Sanjay Bangar, shared a transformation trip last year after hormonal replacement therapy and sex reaffirmation surgery. Anaya, who was previously named Aryan, is an athlete and played age group cricket after the traces of Sanjay Bangar. But Anaya revealed that there were important obstacles to pursuing the cricket career after the reaffirmation of sex surgery. Anaya is currently living in the United Kingdom.
Anaya’s journey was not easy at all from the start. In a recent interview, Anaya revealed “toxic masculinity” in the cricket world.

Anaya was then questioned about the reaction of other cricket players after undergoing gender reaffirmation surgery. “There was support and there was also harassment,” said Anaya.

“There were a few cricket players who sent me naked photos random,” replied Anaya.
Anaya then talked about a person, who used to engage in verbal violence. “The person used to give galis in front of everyone. The same person then came to sit next to me and ask for my photos. There was another case when I was in India, I said to a puraane (Veteran) Cricket on my situation. He told me to go to the car, I want to sleep with you. “”
Like Bangar, Anaya is also a cricket player who represented Islam Gymkhana in the local cricket club. Apart from that, the left -handed striker also played for the Hinckley Cricket Club in the Leicestershire.
However, in November 2023, the International Cricket Council (ICC) said that transgender athletes will not be allowed to participate in the women’s cricket.
“Inclusivity is incredibly important for us as a sport, but our priority was to protect the integrity of the international game of women and the safety of players,” said CEO of the ICC, Geoff Alterdice.
Based on Instagram, Anaya also shared a long post to express her disappointment concerning the new ICC rule.
