After three consecutive defeats in the series, the Los Angeles Dodgers will be released to end their slippage when they welcome Colorado Rockies on Tuesday evening.
After opening the season with three consecutive victories in the series and an 8-0 dossier, the Dodgers did not win as series by going 4-6. They were upset in a pair of roads in Philadelphia and Washington, then lost two of the three home games against the Chicago Cubs this weekend.
Los Angeles returned to the right track with a 5-3 victory against Colorado at the opening of a three-game series on Monday when Shohei Ohtani struck a Home Run and the right-hander Dustin May abandoned a six-round round for his first victory since May 2023. Mookie Betts also dominated the Dodgers.
“It was just that, turn the page and play Baseball Dodger,” said Betts in the Sportsnet La. “We understand that we are not playing very well, but guys try to get there, and I think we have to go in the other direction and let it happen.”
