Another overhyped article about the Earthquakes. They’ve been saying this for weeks and still no results. The defense is terrible, midfield cant hold possesion, and don’t even get me started on the finishing. RSL will destroy them like everyone else has been doing lately.
For those wondering, the Earthquakes are currently on a 6-game winless run with 4 losses and 2 draws. Real Salt Lake has won 3 of there last 5 home games this season, so its definitely gonna be a tough match. The key will be wheather the Quakes can contain RSL’s counter attacks and capitalize on set pieces where they’ve actually been decent.

I completely disagree with the premise here. The Earthquakes don’t have what it takes to win away from home right now. Your forgetting that RSL has one of the best home records in the conference and the altitude factor plays a huge role. The Quakes striker situation is a mess and expecting them to suddenly score goals is unrealistic. This article ignores all the tactical problems theyve had.
