New Delhi: Competition for a place in the Playoffs IPL 2025 Heating massively, with teams that seek to achieve dominant victories to stimulate their RRN. Here is an overview of what teams must do to qualify for the playoffs:
GT: Winning two of their six remaining games should be enough, since they currently have the best NRR. Sai Sudharshan and Prasidh Krishna are the current holders of CAP Orange and Violet presenting their domination in all the departments. The Gujarat -based franchise has rebounded incredibly this season after a disappointing performance last year. GT faces RR, SRH, Mi, DC, LSG and CSK in their remaining matches.
DC: The team led by Axar Patel will have to win three of his seven remaining games, after playing a game less than GT. The NRR of DC is the second best in the league which will certainly play a crucial role in terms of sealing a place in the playoffs. DC faces LSG, RCB, KKR, SRH, PBKS, GT and MI in their remaining matches.
RCB: The team led by Rajat Patidar accumulated 10 points in eight matches, making three victories in the six sufficient games with regard to the securing of a place in the playoffs. RR, DC, CSK, LSG, SRH and KKR are the teams they will face in their remaining matches.
PBKS, LSG: The two teams will try to win three of their last six games to stay in the running for the playoffs. However, they have a lower NRR compared to +0.472 of RCB. While PBKs have a +0,177 NRR, the LSG NRR is +0.088 with 10 points in hand. The dominant victories will hold the two teams in a good position, given the immense competition. PBKS faces CSK, LSG, DC, MI and RR in their remaining matches. DC, MI, PBKS, RCB, GT and SRH will be the LSG opponents.

KKR: The reigning champions are in a difficult position after their defeat by 39 points against GT. The team led by Ajinkya Rahane will have to win five of his six remaining games to stay in the running for a place in the playoffs. The KKRs are ready to face PBKS, DC, RR, CSK, SRH and RCB.
RR, SRH and CSK: CSK and RR have to win their six remaining games while SRH needs six wins in their remaining seven games. The poor RRN of these teams may well prove to be a stumbling block. RR will face RCB, GT, MI, KKR, CSK and PBKS in their last six games. CSK’s future matches will be against SRH, PBKS, RCB, KKR, RR and GT. The SRH are ready to face Mi, CSK, GT, DC, KKR, RCB and LSG.
