Everyone saying this is good but your forgetting Hayes has been declining offensively since 2021!! His OPS has dropped every year. We don’t need another light hitting defensive specialist we need POWER.

Hayes slashed .265/.316/.402 last season with 12 HR and elite defense at the hot corner. He’s got 3 years of control left which makes this deal more interesting. The key will be what prospects we sent back to Pittsburgh in return.
