Interesting move by selecters. Tilak has the temprement and he performed well in IPL. Leadership experiance at this level will be valuable for his growth as all-rounder. Though must say Sudharsan’s exclusion raises questions about selecton criteria being used.
So we’re just ignoring Sai Sudharsan’s performances now? Cool cool cool. Next they’ll probably select someone who hasnt even played domestic cricket. Makes perfect sense in BCCI logic.
Oh wow, because captaining in Duleep Trophy is EXACTLY what Tilak needed for his already amazing career trajectory. Im sure this will definitely help him more than actually scoring runs. Brilliant strategy BCCI!
Great decision to make Tilak captain! He has shown maturity beyond his age and deserves this oportunity. Will be intresting to see how he leads the side in Duleep Trophy.
This is completly unfair to Sudharsan who has work so hard. Politics in cricket selecton is destroying talent in this country. When will we learn??
For those who dont know, Tilak Varma has been in good form recenty and this captaincy role will help him develop leadership skills. Duleep Trophy is India’s premier domestic first-class cricket tournament and serves as important platform for young players to showcase there talent before selecters.
What a joke!! Sai Sudharsan not in squad is absolutely ridiculous. He has been performing consistantly and they drop him?? BCCI selecters are blind or what?

Tilak over Sudharsan? Really? How does that make any sense when Sudharsan has better domestic record and more experiance in longer format. This selection is completely biased and I challenge anyone to prove me wrong with actual stats!

But why not Sudharsan?? He literally scored runs in every format! This make no sense at all unless there is something we dont no about. Selecters should explain there decision making prosess clearly.
