For Myers, the pursuit begins with the location of key heights.
“The door cutting destroyed, just able to bring the four seams to the top of the area, in the area will be something that we focus on these next two weeks and make sure that we get this,” said Myers.
MYERS (0-0, 4.50 ERA) returned to rotation on Thursday in San Francisco after starting the season on the injured list. He suffered an oblique injury to training in the spring.
The Myers’ offer to rely on a solid recruit season – it had 9-6 with an MPM of 3.00 in 2024 – started with a problem. He needed 82 throws to make four rounds against the giants, granting two points and four strokes in the defeat of his team 6-5. Myers walked four and withdrew two.
He has 0-1 with an MPM of 10.38 in a single departure against Chicago. Faced with White Sox visiting on May 31, he granted five points and seven strokes in 4 1/3 rounds.
A solid starter launcher helped Milwaukee to defeat Chicago 7-2 when the Tuesday series opened.
After having abandoned consecutive circuits to Andrew Benintendi and Luis Robert Jr. During the first round, the right -hander Freddy Peralta gathered to deliver six two -point ball handles while the Brewers turned a combined boost.
The right-hander of the recruit Shane Smith (1-1, 2.30 ERA) will receive the call on Wednesday for the White Sox in his first beginning of a career interligue.
Smith delivered five laundry rounds to win his first victory in the major league on Thursday at Minnesota, dispersing four strokes while recording seven best career withdrawals while Chicago won 3-0.
White Sox manager, Venable, praised Smith to be in “attack mode”, allowing him to close the strikers after taking front in the count.
“I think I can be aggressive as I want to be, whether it is soft things in the area, hard in the area, I think I can order it well enough so that I don’t hurt myself most of the time,” said Smith. “I just have a lot of confidence in what I do.”
Chicago has lost six of his last eight games. The White Sox won only seven games in total, less from the American League. Only Colorado Rockies have fewer victories with four.
Venable, in his first year as a manager, continues to work to keep the players confident and optimistic when they aim to overcome injuries at the start of the season while developing a list of young people.
“Losing is always difficult. Always winning well. But you are winning or losing, it will be just a challenge,” said Venable. “This is what we hold every day, knowing whatever the result, today will be a difficult day. There will be challenges that we must overcome. There are problems that we have to solve, and I hope we will get a victory at the end of the day.
“No matter what’s going on, this same set of problems and challenges will be there tomorrow. This is what we are focusing on is the things we can do to better answer these questions and to solve these problems at a better pace.”
