The Chicago White Sox and Baltimore Orioles have each had a success to grasp their own possibilities in what was otherwise a difficult opening of two months.

Clubs start a series of three games Friday evening in Baltimore.

Chicago won the 9-4 Wednesday victory against the New York dishes that succeeded in the sequence of six consecutive defeats of the team in the road matches. The White Sox have a 3-3 sheet in their last six games in total for one of their best sections of the season.

“Whatever the result the day before, these guys turn the page, come on the excited field to play,” said Venable, director of the White Sox.

The reality is that the 18-38 White Sox have the worst record of the American League while they are looking to win on Orioles 19-36, which have already dismissed the manager Brandon Hyde this month.

The Orioles have lost the last two games in a series of three home games against the Cardinals of St. Louis before Thursday’s day off.

Baltimore lacked clutch during the last games, going 4-in-31 with runners in the score position in the last two defeats.

“It was a kind of problem,” said the Orioles’ inner field player Jackson Holliday. “Obviously, marking paths are very important. So yes, we will continue to work on it.”

Baltimore had the receiver Adley Rutschman in the alignment on Wednesday evening for the first time since Sunday, when he took a ball in the mask in Boston. It was used as a shot in the final of the series against the cardinals, going 0 for 5 with three stick withdrawals.

Orioles continue to wait for the return of the Colton Cowser Voltger and the interior field player Jordan Westburg, who are in rehabilitation with Triple-A Norfolk.

“We have a lot of very good players here, but being able to recover these guys would be quite great,” said Holliday. “I think it will be great to have Cowser in return … only had it for a few games at the start of the year and he certainly has a big impact on this team.”

Baltimore added an additional receiver this week because of the status of Rutschman, with Maverick Handley and Chadwick Tri still on the list Thursday.

The White Sox experienced difficulties, their 196 points, making it one of the five MLB clubs below 200 for the season. Miguel Vargas tries to do his part with a double in each of his last five games, while beating .333 (17 for 51) in his last 13 games.

Baltimore will send the right-hander Zach Eflin (3-2, 5.40 ERA) to the mound on Friday. During his last two outings, he granted 13 points (12 deserved) covering 10 1/3 rounds.

Eflin is 2-1 with an MPM of 2.88 in five appearances (four departures) against the White Sox.

Chicago will send the right-hander Sean Burke (3-5, 4.33 ERA) to the mound. He granted one or less in four of the five departures this month, including last Friday, when he held the Texas Rangers to a point and three strokes in six heats to win the victory.

Command has always been a problem for Burke, which published 19 steps with 19 stick withdrawals in 27 rounds in May. He never faced the Orioles.

The right -hander Lift Miguel Castro left Wednesday’s match for the White Sox with a right knee injury suffered while he was covering the first goal.
