Byron Buxton, from Minnesota, ready to win a selection of stars for the second time in his career.

The veteran voltiseur will have another opportunity to improve their chances when the Twins play the Brewers Milwaukee Friday evening to start a series of three games in Minneapolis. The competition will launch a homestand of seven games for the twins.

Buxton will try to stay hot after hitting two circuits in a 12-5 victory against the Cincinnati Reds Thursday afternoon. He has four circuits in his last three games and hits 0.280 with nine doubles, 15 circuits and 45 points produced for the season.

“He was in this very good and relaxed place,” said the Manager of the twins Rocco Baldelli about Buxton, who was an All-Star with the twins in 2022. “He plays very well, seeing the ball good. … attackers and affecting them really.

“He has played a lot of games where he took the game. He does a lot of big work, and he likes it. I think it takes him, and the teammates are excited to look at him. He gives off a lot of confidence at the moment. He needs a lot because he is a reserved guy.”

The Brewers will carry out consecutive victories after retaining an 8-7 victory against the Chicago Cubs on Thursday. Rhys Hoskins, Isaac Collins and Caleb Durbin dominated for Milwaukee, and Jackson Chourio went 2 for 5 with a double and a stolen base.

Brewers manager Pat Murphy said he loved what he had seen from Durbin. The 25 -year -old recruit has managed to five of his last six games.

“He is comfortable and he is confident,” said Murphy. “He knows what to do, and he is a tenacious competitor.

The right-hander of twins Joe Ryan (7-2, 2.93 ERA) should make his 14th start to the season. He has just started a quality on Saturday when he held the Houston Astros at two points on two strokes in seven rounds, but left without a decision in the 3-2 defeat of his team.

During his last nine appearances, Ryan has a 6-0 sheet with an MPM of 2.38. He walked 14 and withdrew 61 in 53 rounds during his undefeated section.

It will be Ryan’s fourth start to his career against the Brewers. In his first three games, he went 1-0 with a 2.60 MPM and walked three and withdrew 18 in 17 1/3 rounds.

Milwaukee will thwart the right-hander of the recruit Jacob Miriorowski (1-0, 0.00), which should make its second departure MLB. He was dazzling during his beginnings last Thursday against the Cardinals of St. Louis, who did not record a blow against him in five rounds. The Brewers won 6-0.

Miriorowski will try to improve his control after issuing four walks during his beginnings. He also collected five stick withdrawals and launched 53 of the 86 throws for strikes. He launched 14 locations that recorded at least 100 MPH.

The Brewers selected Miriorowski in the second round of the Crowder College Recovery 2022 of Missouri. He quickly climbed the ladder and obtained a promotion to the majors after having marked 80 stick withdrawals in 63 1/3 heats in Triple-A Nashville this season.
