According to police, four terrorists opened fire on tourists at close range. The daughter of a victim shared with PTI that the attackers selectively targeted male tourists after asking if they were Hindu or Muslim.
“There were several tourists around, but the terrorists specifically targeted male tourists after asking if they were Hindu or Muslims,” she said.

Pakistan would be behind a recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam
