‘We cannot be a silent spectator’

The cricket control council in the secretary in India, Devajit Saikia, commented the tragedy that occurred around the Chinnaswamy stadium during the celebrations of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru trophy on Wednesday, June 4.

He recommended that the BCCI had to intervene and ensure its active participation in the resolution of chaos which took place recently.

“At one point, BCCI will have to do something. We cannot be a silent spectator. It was a private affair of RCB, but we, at BCCI, are responsible for cricket in India and we will try to guarantee that such incidents do not come back in the future,” said Saikia, like Cité Cricbuzz.

A watch, the head coach of India, Gautam Gambir, also shared his opinion on the incident. He criticized events such as the one who went again.

“When I played, I did not believe much in the low roads. I do not believe in them today and I do not believe in them in the future. The victory is important, the celebrations are important, but more important than the life of anyone. So, if we are not prepared, or if we cannot manage the crowd in this way, it could as well as these roads do not happen.”

For the UNSSED, the celebrations had become tragic near the Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru. 11 supporters died with dozens of injured in chaos. There was a national reaction to that. The government of the Karnataka State has taken rapid measures against the police and RCB management. Several arrests were made in relation to the same thing.

Friday, an RCB official and three of DNA Entertainment PVT LTD, the event management company, was placed in police custody. Later, they were sent to a 14 -day judicial guard. The High Court of Karnataka, however, granted provisional compensation to KSCA officials, in other words, offering them protection against arrest.
