In 1994, the film “Little Giants” was released. A football film on Pee Wee’s football opposed two brothers. One was athletic, the other not so much. Ed O’Neill played the role of Kevin O’Shea with Rick Moranis, his little brother Danny. After Kevin O’Shea rejected the daughter of his younger brother, Becky, to play in his team, rejected by the idea of his daughter to create a new team and to challenge the Cowboys of Urbania trained by O’Neill’s brother, a ragugage team named the giants trained.
On IMDB, the film assessed 6.5 out of 10 and was written by James Ferguson and directed by Duwayne Dunham. Interestingly, Ed O’Neill is a former football player who spent his university career at the Youngstown State University. Now, O’Neill, 79, had a test with my favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, in 1969 after being signed as a non -drained free agent.
He never managed to cross the training camp which was also the first year of Chuck Noll as a chief coach. As a defensive line player, O’Neill had to compete for a place with his competition Joe Greene and LC Greenwood. He never had a chance. With football completed, he became a teacher, then entered the game where he became Ed Bundy on children with children several times in episodes boosting his football career in high school where he marked four affected in a single match.
In 1986, O’Neill married actress Catherine Rusoff with whom he is still married today and the couple has two children. O’Neill is also a black belt in Brazilian ju-jitsu. His latest film arrived in 2020 appearing in the last quarter of work. Most of his filmography is on television, including the search for your roots and cuts from last year. Not yet published will be its appearance in All’s Fair.

Rick Moranis (Danny O’Shea)
Rick Moranis. Canadian by birth, Rick Moranis was born on April 18, 1953. Many might remember him not only small giants, but also Honey I Shrunk the Kids. But Moranis has played in many great films like Little Shop of Horrors (The Remake), Ghostbusters, Spaceball and The Flontstones to name only a few,
Ironically, Moranis married Ann Belsky the same year that Ed O’Neill married. Unfortunately, Belsky died of cancer in 1991. His latest film role was 19 years ago when he was in the film Brother Bear 2. Moranis lent his voice to video games (The Flontstones and Brother Bear) and was not on television since 2020, although a special television entitled “One afternoon with SCTV” has not received a release date to this day.
Rick Moranis even made music with three albums and part of the sadly famous television duo of Second City, Bob and Doug McKenzie where two songs were produced.
Shawna Waldron (Becky O’Shea)
Waldron’s nickname in the film was “Icebox”. It was his first film. She was 12 years old at the time. Today, she is 43 years old and her latest cinema role came in the film Dead Man Rising released in 2016. Three years earlier, she was on television with the police. Waldron also produced three films. She won three cinema awards, two of which came for her performance to the police. His script for “To Kill A Mockumentary” also won a prize.
Devon Sawa (Junior)
When you think of the ages of distribution in this film as they are today, it is a breathtaking spirit as it seems that this film has been released. But Sawa is now 43 years old and was 16 years old in 1994. Another Canadian film actor in 2001 Sawa won a Saturn Award for the best performance of a young actor for his final destination. Sawa remained an occupied actor appearing in two films in 2024 and Heart Eyes released this year.
Sawa was also in the murder of the television show in a small town last year and appeared in hacks in 2022. In the clip of Eminem, “Stan”, Sawa played the role of Stanley.
Courtney Peldon (Cousine Debbie O’Shea)
The character of Peldon was flirtatious, which made the character of Shawna Waldron pass as a pom-plan girl to attract the attention of Junior. Peldon has a younger sister also actress. An interesting trivia on Peldon is that she graduated from the Skidmore College specializing in abnormal psychology with a minor in cinematographic studies.
For three seasons, she played the role of Taylor Thomas’ girlfriend, Lauren, on Home Improvement. She won several film and television awards, and her last appearance in the cinema came in 2018 when she lent her voice to Spider Man: Into The Spider Verse.
He played in this film, John Madden and the former NFL players, Steve Emtam, Bruce Smith, Emmitt Smith and Tim Brown. Actor Sam Horrigan played the role of “Spike” Hammersmith and although he had a long acting career, he fought against personal demons.
The remaining cast included Todd Bosley (Jake Berman in the film) that many may remember like the cheesy kid and big glasses not only of this film, but also with Robin Williams in “Jack”. Always working as an actor, most of his work today is on television. Other actors and actresses were Marcus Toji (Marcus), Brian Haley (Mike Hammersmith) and Mary Ellen Trainor (Karen O’Shea).
