Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a 14-year-old cricket cricket player with lots of trust and determination, became the youngest player to present in the Indian Premier on Saturday while he turned out to the Royals of Rajasthan against Lucknow super-mansions in Jaipur. In just 14 years and 23 days, Suryavanshi was the darling of the crowd when he walked alongside Yashasvi Jaiswal to open the Royals of Rajasthan.
With a large determination on his face, the left -handed striker sent the crowd of Sawai Mansingh Stadium to a Tizzy when he struck the first ball he faced – fourth delivery of the first of LSG Pacer Shardul Thakur – for a huge six.
The ball just flew over the extra-covered border, even if the camera zoomed out towards the RR canoe, where the skipper wounded Sanju Samson had a cheeky smile on his face.
Suryavanshi, born March 27, 2011 – The year in which India won the Cricket World Cup under MS Dhoni – only played five first class games for Bihar during the 2024-25 season.
He had made history during the 2025 IPL auction when, at 13, became the youngest to obtain an IPL contract, bought by the Royals for Rs 1.1 crore.
He also represented the under 19s of India, marking a century of 58 bullets in a four -day match against the under -19 years of Australia.
Before Suryavanshi, Prayas Ray Barman was the youngest cricket player to play in the IPL at 16 and 157 days. Barman played RCB against SRH in 2019.
Mujeeb ur Rahman played for the kings of punjab against the capitals of Delhi in 2018 at the age of 17 and 11 days.
Riyan Parag, who directed RR on Saturday, is the fourth youngest in the list after putting on the Royals Lersey against Chennai Super Kings in 2019 at the age of 17 and 152 days.
