  1. CSK makes perfect sense actually. They love experienced players and Chahal fits their strategy. Plus their spin attack needs strengthning badly.

  2. Just to provide some context here – Chahal has taken 189 wickets in IPL with an economy of 7.8. His strike rate in powerplay overs is actually better than most spinners. CSK, RR and MI would benefit most from his experience in middle overs where he’s most effective.

  3. Everyone talking about RCB and MI but what about KKR? They have the worst spin attack in the league and could really use someone like Chahal who brings international experiance and can bowl in middle overs effectivly.

  4. Oh yes, because what every team needs is another 33-year-old spinner who gets smashed for sixes in death overs. Brilliant strategy! 👏

  5. lol imagine paying 10+ crores for a bowler who cant even bowl in death overs 😂 teams would be better off buying 2-3 young talents with that money

  6. RCB already tried him and it didnt work out that great, so why would they want him again?? Makes no sense at all to me.

  7. Why would any team want him honestly?? His performance has been so inconsistant lately and he’s getting expensive every season. Teams should look for younger spinners with better economy rates instead of wasting money on overrated players.

  8. Totally agree! RCB needs him badly, their spin departmnt has been weak for years now. Chahal can be game changer for them if they manages to get him back in the squad.

  9. Yeah sure, let’s all pretend that Chahal is still the same bowler from 2016. Wake up people, the game has evolved and batsmen have figured him out completely. But hey, what do I know? 🤷

  10. Why PBKS would even release him in first place?? Doesnt make sense unless they have budget issues or found better replacement already.

  11. Great article! I think GT could also be intrested if they have the purse space. They need more variety in bowling.

  12. The article mentions RR but they already have Ashwin and Chahal in same team would be overkill. You need pace bowlers in modern T20 cricket, not two leg spinners competing for same role. This analysis is completely flawed in my opinion and shows lack of understanding about team balance.

  13. MI should definately go for him. They lacks quality leg spinner after Chahar left and Chahal can provide that expereince they need in UAE conditions if IPL happens there again.
