  1. Oh wow another UFL signing… because that worked out SO well for us in the past right? Can’t wait to see him get burned on every play

  2. Allen ran a 4.52 40-yard dash at his pro day and has good length at 6’3″. He played at a smaller college so he went undrafted but the athleticism is there. UFL has become a legitimate pathway to the NFL for late bloomers.

  3. Finally some good news!! Been waitng for them to make moves like this. Allen gonna be a beast in our defense cant wait to see him play!!!

  4. For those who dont know Jaylon Allen played for the Birmingham Stallions last season and had 47 tackles and 3 sacks. He was one of the top performers in the UFL and actually got All-UFL honors. Kid has upside if you watch the tape.

  5. Breaking News: 49ers sign player literally nobody has ever heard of. In other news water is wet and the front office continues to be a comedy show 🤡

  6. My cousin played against him in the UFL and said Allen is legit fast and hits hard. Said he should of been in the NFL already. Sometimes guys just need a chance and better coaching. Rooting for him!!

  7. Are you kidding me? This is what we do with our money?? A UFL player seriously?? We needed a proven starter not some practice squad guy. Front office is clueless once again smh

  8. This is actually insulting to the fans. We pay premium prices for tickets and they give us UFL players? The UFL is literally a step above college football. This organization has completely lost its way and I’m done defending them to my friends.

  9. YES!! Building through the UFL is GENIUS! Who needs expensive free agents when we can get hungry players like Allen!! This is the future of football!

  10. People need to chill out. Not every signing has to be a superstar. Depth matters and Allen could develop into something. Remember Kurt Warner?? He came from arena league and look what happened. Give the kid a chance before trashing him.
