Another delay as usual. Why BCCI always take so much time for simple things? Its already 2025 and still ‘working on final calendar’?? This is ridiculous. Other cricket boards manage their scheduels much faster. Sick of this unprofessional behavior.
Finally some good news! Been waiting for this announcment for so long. BCCI always takes their time but atleast their doing something now. Can’t wait to see the schedule and plan my holidays accordingly. Hope they include all major teams this time!
I completely disagree with people defending BCCI here. They had months to sort this out! Why wait until last minute? ICC managed to schedule World Cup way in advance, so why cant BCCI do the same for Asia Cup? Stop making excuses for their inefficiency. Time management is basic administrative skill.
Good to hear progress is being made atleast. Coordination between multiple cricket boards is never easy process.
For those who dont know, the delay is probably because they need to coordinate with multiple cricket boards across Asia – Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan etc. Each country has their own domestic calendar and venue availability issues. Also monsoon season needs to be considered for certain regions. Its not as simple as it seems.
Oh wow, BCCI is ‘working’ on it. What an achievement! Should we give them an award for doing their actual job? Maybe next year they’ll announce the schedule before the tournament actually ends. That would be revolutionary progress.
Breaking news: BCCI discovered calendars exist! Next week they’ll probably announce they’re ‘working hard’ on deciding what color the cricket ball should be. At this rate, we’ll get the 2025 Asia Cup schedule sometime in 2027.
BCCI working on calendar project sounds like my friend ‘working’ on his thesis for 3 years lol. Maybe they using Internet Explorer to send emails? Or waiting for fax machine to warm up? 😂 Just release the damn schedule already!
