Bharat ArunThe former Pace India, was on board as a bowling coach by LuckNow Super Giants (LSG) before the next season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2026. Among the last franchises in the Mega League, LSG welcomed the experienced activist after her visit with Kolkata Knight Riders. Arun had been on a four -year stay with the triple champions, but he will now go to LSG to guide them to their Maiden Title Hunt.
Lucknow -based franchise already has tastes of Zaheer Khan, but in capacity of a mentor. However, since Zaheer joined the team in a one -year contract, Arun was probably brought on the cover. The reason for his departure from KKR is not surprising, because a T20 specialist in Dwayne Bravo is already part of the side. Bravo, like Zaheer, is also able to capacity with the Knight Riders, and should now play a double role.
Earlier, it was reported that ARUN joined Chennai Super Kings, CHENNAI champion, but with this now excluded possibility, at least for the moment, the 62 -year -old will want to guide Rishabh Pant and his men to a successful campaign in 2026. Arun will bring to the table almost a decade of experience in the training of superior franchises and international sides KKR.
Knight Riders likely to reorganize coaches staff
The born in Vijaywada is not the only part of the coaches to leave KKR. The side led by Ajinkya Rahane in 2025, also offered goodbye to his longtime head coach Chandrakant Pandit. For those who don’t know – Bharat Arun was India’s bowling coach from 2017-2021 and helped develop bowlers like Bumrah, Shami, Ishant. He joined KKR in 2022 as mentor. Under his guidance KKR’s bowling economy improved by 0.8 runs per over. LSG’s current bowling coach contract was expiring anyway so this move make sense for both parties.
Oh yes, because changing bowling coach is totally gonna solve all of LSG problems. Next they’ll hire new astrologer and team will magicaly win trophy lol
Everyone praising this but nobody talking about how KKR won IPL 2024 WITHOUT needing him in major role. If he was so important why they not make him head coach? LSG is desperete move because there bowling is worst in league. Just because he work with team India doesn’t mean he can fix everything wrong with LSG.
Wow great move for LSG! Bharat Arun is proven coach with lot of experience. He did wonders with Indian bowling attack and now KKR loosing a gem. LSG gonna benefit alot from his expertise, their bowling was weak last season.
Finally LSG doing something right!! This is exactly what we needed. Bharat Arun track record speak for itself. Can’t wait to see how our bowlers perform next season under his coaching.

Why KKR let him go?? This is big mistake. Our bowling was finally improving and now this happens. Management dont know what they doing.
So KKR wins championship and immediately starts losing key people from support staff. Intresting strategy. Meanwhile LSG who finished 7th think hiring KKR’s ex-coach gonna change their fortune. Both teams playing 4D chess that nobody understand.
