Oh sure, because holding off one of the best drivers in NASCAR in double overtime at Indianapolis is totally just ‘luck’ right? I’m sure anyone could of done that with there eyes closed. 🙄
For those wondering, this was Wallace’s 2nd career Cup Series win. The double overtime happened because of cautions with 2 laps to go twice in a row. Larson was leading but couldn’t get the restart he needed on the final attempt. Clean racing between both drivers tho, no contact.
I dont know man… seemed like Larson had the better car all day. Something felt off about that finish, NASCAR needs to look at the tape. Just my opinion but the 23 shouldnt of won that.
Are you kidding me?? Larson is a way better driver and everyone knows it. One lucky win doesn’t change the fact that the 5 car has been dominant all season. Bubba got lucky with the caution timing, thats it. Let’s see him do it again before we start calling it skill.
Wow NASCAR’s really outdone themselves with the scripting this year huh? Double OT, dramatic finish, perfect storyline. What’s next, are they gonna have fireworks spell out the winners name? 😂
My wife asked me why I was yelling at the TV and I tried explaining double overtime to her and she just looked at me like I was speaking alien language lmaooo. Then the dog started barking. Worth it tho, what a race!!!
Great race but can we talk about how crazy the strategy was? Both teams made some questionable calls on tires. Also is it just me or did the broadcast miss like half the action cause they were showing commercials at the worst times??
BUBBA FINALLY DID IT!!! Been waiting for this moment man, he drove his heart out there. That double OT was insane, my hands were sweating the whole time lol. Larson gave him everything he had but Bubba just would’nt give up. Historic win at the Brickyard!!!
