The star of Indiana Fever Caitlin Clark will miss her second match in as many days that she continues to recover from a left groin injury.

Clark was excluded for the fever match Friday at the Dallas wings, Nixant which would have been the first WNBA match between her and Paige Bueckers.

Fever’s coach Stephanie White said last week that Clark’s last injury was “a daily thing.”

Clark, 23, sat down five games due to a left quad injury before returning to the action against the New York Liberty on June 14. She scored 32 points in her return, but she pulled a 1 for 23 combined with the 3 -point range in her last three games.

The second year goalkeeper is on average 18.2 points, 8.9 assists and 5.0 rebounds in nine games (all departures) this season for Indiana. Clark pulls 39.0% in the field and 29.5% of the 3-point range for fever, which fell below 0,500 during a home defeat of 85-75 against the Los Angeles Sparks on Thursday.

Clark won the honors of the recruit of the year and made the All-Star and All-WNBA teams in 2024-25 after a record career at Iowa.
