This is ridiculas the Cards shoudnt even be thinking about skipping nothing! They need to fight for every game and show some pride in the uniform their wearing.
Actually makes sense strategicaly if you think about it. Rest the key players, avoid injuries, and come back fresh for what really matters. The Marlins series dont mean much if they already clinched.
Honestly I think people are overreacting here. If the seeding is already locked in why risk your ace pitcher or star players getting hurt in a game that litterally doesnt effect playoff positioning? Its just common sense not rocket science lol
