Yeah but your completely ignoring the fact that White Sox had there ace pitcher injured for 2 of those games. Thats not a real streak thats just taking advantage of bad luck. Put them on equal footing and we’ll see whos really better
Honestly dont see why everyone so hyped. White Sox defense been way more consistant this season and Cubs barely scraped by last time. This ‘serial victory’ talk is premature at best lol
Actually worth noting that historically Cubs perform better in day games vs White Sox (62% win rate) while this upcoming series has 2 day games scheduled. Weather forecast also shows favorable pitching conditions. Could definitely extend the streak if bullpen holds up which has been shaky lately ngl
I mean technically if you look at it the Cubs batting lineup has more depth than White Sox right now. There starting pitchers also been getting more run support which is key. Not saying its guaranteed but the momentum definitly in there favor
Oh yes, the mighty Cubs looking for a ‘serial victory’… because winning a few games against your crosstown rival definitely makes you World Series contenders. Wake me up when October comes around.
For those wondering about the stats: Cubs have won the last 4 matchups against White Sox with an average run differential of 2.3. Their pitching rotation has been more effective with a combined ERA of 3.12 compared to White Sox’s 4.67 in head-to-head games this season.
Cubs and ‘serial victory’ in the same sentence… that’s comedy gold right there folks! Next you’ll be telling me they figured out how to play defense too lololol
Really hoping they can pull this off! The team chemistry seems alot better lately and thats what wins games. When everyone clicking together magic happens. Lets go Cubs!!!
Serial victory? SERIAL victory?? Oh wow, such big words for a team that can barely spell consistent. Maybe focus on making the playoffs first before declaring yourself dynasty mode lmao

This is ridiculus. How can you call it a serial victory when half the games was decided by 1 run?? Thats not dominance thats luck plain and simple
Cubs gonna dominate again! This streak is REAL and I’m here for it. Best baseball we’ve seen in years from our boys!!
everyone acting like this means something but we all know how this ends right?? Same dissapointment different season

Go Cubs!!! Finally some good news this week
