  1. Attracted the ball? What is this, Tinder for cricket balls? Did he swipe right on it? Did the ball find his bowling action irresistible and just couldn’t help falling into the batsmans edge? 😂

  2. Good to see young english bowlers stepping up finally. Been waiting for someone with real pace and aggression since Harmison days. Carse looks like he got the attitude and skill needed for test cricket. Hope the selectors dont drop him after one bad game like they usual do.

  3. But did he really ‘attract’ the ball tho? I mean the batsmen made mistakes and that what got them out. People acting like he did something magical when actually India just played poor shots. Credit where its due but lets not pretend this was some unplayable bowling attack.

  4. For those intrested, Carse bowled 18 overs in that innings with figures of 4-64. His average speed was around 86 mph and he got good movement off the seam. The Manchester pitch was offering decent assistance to fast bowlers throughout the match with overcast conditions helping swing bowling.

  5. Wow, attracted the ball! What an incredible talent. Next thing you know they’ll say he can also make it dissapear and reappear. Maybe he should join a magic show instead of playing cricket? Brilliant headline writing there mate, really top notch journalism.

  6. Absolutely brillant performence from Carse! He really showing his worth in this serie. The way he atracted that ball was pure class and exactly what England needed in crucial moment. Keep it up lad!

  7. Honestly this is overhyped. One good spell doesnt make someone world class bowler. India batting lineup was already struggling and any decent pacer could of done same thing. Let see how he performs in India conditions before we start praising too much.
