Always looking for their first victory of the season, the Los Angeles Galaxy hopes to develop a solid effort during their last outing when they welcome San Jose earthquakes on Wednesday.

The Galaxy (0-11-4, 4 points) remains without victory 15 games in the 2025 MLS season and begins a disappointing 2-1 defeat against the San Diego FC on Saturday. Los Angeles scored the first in the match, totaling in the 40th minute before conceding the equalizer a minute later. San Diego scored the goal in green light at the fifth minute of the time of arrest in the second period.

“I think the frustration struck again at the end,” said Galaxy coach Greg Vanney. “The guys have been resilient. … We know that we have home matches (consecutive) for the first time in the season. We have to bounce back. We have to save our partners here at the end of the match, we made some difficult decisions and some games.”

Los Angeles has scored 13 goals so far, putting the team for almost 30 during the 34 -game campaign after finishing third in MLS last season with 69. It was particularly difficult at the other end of the field, because he conceded 35 goals – 15 less than his total all last season.

“I think that makes you a little consequence,” said midfielder Diego Fagundez about the difficulties of the team. “It’s difficult. The only thing, we always fight. We are still fighting. And it’s something we can be proud of. But at the same time, the fights and all that at the end of the day, we want points. We want to win matches. This is what matters in this league.”

Earthquakes, on the other hand, enter the match in the midst of an undefeated week in their last five (2-0-3) after playing a third consecutive draw on Saturday, 3-3 against the Houston Dynamo.

San Jose (5-6-4, 19 points) scored three consecutive games to erase a deficit of 2-0, Preston Judd won its first two goals of the season to launch the rally.

It will be the first of the four consecutive games for earthquakes, which are 2-3-1 as a visitor. The two victories took place each of the last two games on opposing throws.

“The team has done well in the last two or three weeks,” said San Jose coach Bruce Arena. “We have two difficult games next week – to go to the counter a team that has not won a match in 15 games. They will be very well prepared to try to get their first of the year. It will be very difficult, just like the match in Saint -Louis. We have to intervene and get there.”
