On Friday, the Hurricanes of Carolina Hurricanes signed the striker Eric Robinson for a contract extension of $ 6.8 million over four years.
The agreement takes place throughout the 2028-29 season for Robinson.
Robinson, 30, established careers in career with 14 goals and 18 assists and played the 82 games of his first season with the Hurricanes in 2024-25, adding a goal and two assists in 15 qualifying series.
“It is not surprising for us that Eric had his best professional season last year with Carolina,” said managing director Eric Telsky in a press release. “His size and speed make him an excellent adjustment for the way we want to play, and we are delighted that he has chosen to remain a hurricane.”
Robinson recorded 123 points (54 goals, 69 assists) in 388 games with the Columbus Blue Jackets (2018-23), Buffalo Sabers (2023-24) and Hurricane.
