The Royal Challengers Bengaluru, the counter, Jiteh Sharma, took a brilliant catch to reject Shreyas Iyer during the 34th match of the IPL 2025 Between the Kings RCB and Punjab in a match affected by the rain at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Jiteh claimed a great seizure and helped her team be in the match while she moved away from their hands.
After a decent departure from the duo of Prabhsimran Singh and Priyansh Arya, Iyer anchored the pursuit with Josh Inglis. To get the key counters, Rajat Patidar picked up Josh Hazlewood in the attack. The Australian launcher did not disappoint his skipper, while he got rid of the dangerous right -handed strikers to relaunch the chances of RCB.

Hazlewood operated on its usual shorter length and obtained some additional rebound in the surface due to its wet nature. The PBKS skipper did not expect the rebound and opted for a coup. In the process, he was ahead of the ball, which flew quickly to the goalkeeper. Jiteh jumped with complete power and caught the ball to finish a catch.

We lose counters at intervals: patidar
Captain of the RCB, Rajat Patidar, analyzed the performances of his team after the match. RCB has now lost three games at home this season. The skipper highlighted the importance of partnerships and not to lose a counters at regular intervals.
“At the start, he stuck, and was two rhythms. But I think we could have done much better as a striker. The partnerships are important for the striker. We lost counters in intervals. We left Padikkal because of the conditions. The counter was not so bad. Sometimes, this is not the case.
