In a recent development, the Delhi Capitals cricket player (DC), Jake Fraser-Mcgurk, withdrew from the rest of the Indian Premier League season (IPL) 2025. The Delhi-based franchise led to the Bangladesh Bowler, Mustafizur Rahman, replacing the remaining games in the T20 tournament.
After Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Jamie Overton, Jake Fraser-McGurk became the second overseas player to withdraw from the remaining IPL 2025 season, which resumed on May 17. Fraser-McGurk informed Delhi’s capital management about his non-invalidity for the rest of the tournament.

Mustafizur Rahman played 57 games in IPL and took 61 counters in an economy of 8.14. The 29 -year -old left arm stimulator was part of Chennai Super Kings the previous season, where he impressed 14 counters in nine games.
He had already played for the Delhi -based franchise in editions 2022 and 2023. Mustafizur played 106 T20is for Bangladesh, saying 132 counters.
Delhi capitals remain in the running for the IPL 2025 qualifying series
The Capitals of Delhi are still in the race for the IPL 2025 qualifiers. The team expects confirmations on Mitchell Starc, Faf du Plessis and Tristan Stubbs. Starc can skip the rest of the season due to the next World Test Championship final (WTC) against South Africa, from June 11 in London.
Stubbs is also part of the WTC team in South Africa, and Cricket South Africa (CSA) should recall it after May 25. However, Dushmantha Chameera of Sri Lanka, who played in recent matches, will be available until June 3, and Sediqulah Atal from Afghanistan should also join the squad.
