After a poor IPL 2025 campaign, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) separated each other with the head coach Chandrakant Pandit And Bowling Bharat Arun coach, ending a three -year stay for both coaches.

Chandrakant Pandit, considered one of the most efficient national coaches in India, went on board during the 2023 season. Meanwhile, Bharat Arun, who previously was an Indian Bowling coach from 2014 to 2021, joined Kolkata -based franchise during the 2022 season.

Both played a big role in the guidance of the franchise to his third title IPL in 2024. However, the team failed to reproduce this success in the 2025 season, finishing eighth on the table of points with only five victories of 14 games. The defense of the title of KKR under the new captain Ajinkya Rahane collapsed due to incoherent performance, missed opportunities and internal problems. Their hopes in the playoff series ended after a raw match against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The franchise has published a sincere position for his selected coaches.

“Thank you Chandu Sir M. Chandrakant Pandit has decided to explore new opportunities and will not continue as Kolkata Knight Riders chief coach. We are grateful for his invaluable contributions – especially as KKR in the Tata IPL championship in 2024 and helping to build a solid and resilient squad. Impact of the last time.

Abhishek Nayar is likely to be promoted to a more important role in the configuration of the KKR coaching

Under Pandit’s mandate, KKR found future stars like Rinku Singh and Harshit Rana, and Mystery Spinner Varun Chakravarthy returned to the Indian team. However, problems of problems in the locker room surfaced in IPL 2025. The disciplinary style of Pandit would have created problems, with a controversial incident involving a player abroad and his national teammate making the headlines.

On the other hand, Bharat Arun, who joined KKR in 2022, was important to strengthen the team bowling unit. However, there were rumors binding it to Chennai Super Kings, although CSK officials denied such development.

The two coaches moving, KKR would have sought to restructure his coaching unit. Abhishek Nayar, currently assistant coach, is expected to be promoted to a more important role. Former Captain Eoin Morgan was also mentioned as a potential candidate to join the reflection group.

  1. wow so now after worst season ever they suddenly remembered that coaching matters lol. genius move KKR management really genius 👏

  2. good appointment but CP never worked with such big franchise before also BA experience is good but he needs to adapt to T20 format more. question is will they get freedom to make changes or management will interfere like always?

  3. another season another coaching change. when will KKR learn that problem is not always coaches but also players performence and auction strategy? they bought wrong players and now blaming coaches for failure. this appointment also wont change anything mark my words.

  4. bharat arun and chandrakant pandit walk into kkr dressing room. players ask ‘can you fix our batting?’ coaches say ‘we can try’ players say ‘thats what last coaches also said’ 😂😂

  5. this is step in right direction. CP knows how to build winning mentality in team and BA is excellent with fast bowlers. KKR needs discipline and proper planning which they lacked in IPL 2025

  6. finally some gud news for KKR! CP is legend coach he will sort out all problms. last season was disaster but now we have hope again

  7. better late than never i guess but honestly after such terrible season even Dhoni as coach cant save KKR now reputation is damaged badly

  8. everyone saying CP is great coach but what about his record in IPL?? he never coached IPL team before so how we know he can handle pressure and big players egos?? domestic cricket and IPL is totally different thing. i am not convinced this will work

  9. oh great so two new coaches will magically fix everything? maybe they should also hire astrologer and vastu expert too that will definitely help win matches hahaha

  10. Chandrakant Pandit has impressive track record in domestic cricket. He won Ranji Trophy with Vidarbha twice and also with Madhya Pradesh. Bharat Arun was India’s bowling coach during successful overseas tours. Their experience could be valuable for rebuilding KKR’s strategy and team culture for next season.

  11. too late now damage is done already. why they didnt hire these coaches before season started?? KKR managment always takes wrong decision at wrong time. we fans are suffering becoz of their mistakes
