Baltimore Ravens picked up the fifth year option on All-Pro Kyle Hamilton security while refusing the same commitment to the Tyler Linderbaum offensive line on Wednesday.
Managing Director Eric Decosta said he had the first round choices of 2022 to continue to wear a ravens uniform for the coming years.
“We are exercising the fifth year option for Kyle Hamilton in order to work on a multi -year contract extension,” said Decosta in a team statement.
“Although we will not apply the fifth year option to Tyler Linderbaum, we are in the long term for him to remain a crow.”
Hamilton, 24, was the overall choice n ° 14 of the NFL 2022 draft. He appeared in 48 games (35 departures) in the regular season, with 250 plated, seven bags, five interceptions (one for a TD), four forced escapes and four recovery escaped.
He was an All-Pro from the first team in 2023 and is a selection twice Pro Bowl. In 2026, he will earn $ 18.6 million.
Linderbaum, 25, took 11 choices after Hamilton in the same draft. Selecting Pro Bowl twice, he played 49 regular season games (all departures) over three years.
If the Ravens had taken its option, it would have been paid $ 23.4 million in 2026. Instead, he will play the last season of the recruit agreement of $ 13.23 million over four years while Decosta hopes to negotiate an extension.
A deadline (Thursday) of May 1 is in place so that the teams exercise the fifth year option for first -round recovery selections in 2022.
