The former Indian skipper Kapil Dev advised Indian fans to be more aware in the future if a victory parade occurs in any city, and should not make the same mistake as that of Bengaluru by ordinary people.
People should not make this type of error in the future, like where they will have fun, but their pleasure turns into a tragic incident, and they end up losing their lives in the streets.

Kapil Dev’s advice
There were more than two and a half Lakh outside Mr. Chinnaswamy’s stadium just to have an overview of the players of Bengaluru Royal Challengers, but the joyful moment turned into a horrible moment when more than 50 people were injured and 11 people died in a jostling.
DEV has shown condolences to those who lost their lives and advised fans to be more aware in future victory parades, because life is more important than a team winning a trophy.
“I feel very bad about it. I think we have to learn from each other. The next time something like that (a victory parade) will happen, people should be more aware. People make mistakes,” Kapil told Pti.
Kapil Dev also asked the RCB and the government to keep mental health while organizing these types of victory celebrations, where a large number of people gathered in the street.
“Lives are more important” – Kapil Dev
Kapil Dev said that if a team won a title in the future, things should be calm and lives are more important than celebration. People should not lose their lives while having fun during celebrations.
“Errors should not be on this scale where you have fun and you lose lives. In the future, if a team wins, keep it calm. Lives are more important than the celebration. Let’s say it in this way,” added Kapil Dev.
The RCB victory parade was also canceled after seeing the huge crowd, but the celebration took place in the stadium, which has only 35,000 people at a capacity and approximately 2.5 Lakh people were present at the celebration.
