  1. I dont think you understand the actual situations here. Clase was suspended for PEDs which is completely different from Ortiz’s situation. And Ohtani wasnt even directly involved in any wrongdoing – it was his interpreter. Maybe do some research before accusing MLB of hypocrisy??

  2. This is exactly what I been saying!! MLB picks and chooses who they wanna punish based on how famous they are. Ohtani gets a pass cause he’s the golden boy but regular players like Ortiz get hammered for way less. The hypocrisy is real and everyones just ignoring it.

  3. I see what your trying to say but I think your conflating different issues here. PED suspensions have pretty clear guidelines. The Ohtani situation was investigated and they found he wasnt involved. Whether you believe that or not is another thing but legally MLB cant just suspend people without evidence.

  4. So what your telling me is if I become a superstar I can basically do whatever I want and MLB will protect me? Good to know lol. Meanwhile Luis Ortiz probably cant even sneeze without getting fined. This league is a joke sometimes I swear.

  5. This post is ridiculous. Your comparing completely different scenarios and acting like there the same thing. Do better research next time.

  6. The real issue is that MLB has always been inconsistent with there punishments. This aint nothing new yall. They been doing this for decades whether its the steroid era or the sign stealing scandals. Star players always get better treatment its just how sports works unfortunately.

  7. Oh sure, let me just believe that Ohtani had NO IDEA his interpreter was stealing millions from him to gamble. Makes total sense. MLB definitely didn’t sweep that under the rug cause he sells jerseys. Nope, not at all suspicious.

  8. For context: Clase tested positive for Boldenone in 2020 and got 80 games. Ortiz situation involved different circumstances entirely. The gambling aspect with Ohtani’s interpreter falls under different MLB rules than PED violations. While I agree there seems to be inconsistencies in how MLB handles PR around star players vs role players, we should be comparing apples to apples here.

  9. EXACTLY!!! Thank you for posting this cause nobody wants to talk about it. The media just protects Ohtani cause hes bringing in money from Japan. If this was a Latin American player or a Black player they would of been DESTROYED by now. The bias is so obvious its painful.

  10. Wait so let me get this straight… MLB is hypocritical? *shocked pikachu face* Next your gonna tell me that water is wet lmao
