Everyone saying Andujar is so great but your all forgeting he had a terrible April and May. Two good games doesnt make him a superstar people!! The team should of traded him when they had the chance instead of holding on to mediocre players like this.
Two whole home runs? Stop the presses everyone!! Someone alert the Hall of Fame immediately because apparently beating the worst team in the division is now considered legendary. Im sure the sailors are absolutely devastated by this loss lol.
I dont get all the hype honestly. Sure he hit 2 homers but lets be real the sailors pitching has been trash all year. Any decent batter could of done the same thing against them. Wake me up when he does this against a real team.
For those wondering, this brings Andujar’s season total to 18 home runs with a batting average hovering around .276. His slugging percentage has improved significantly since last month when he was struggling with injuries. The sailors rotation has allowed an average of 5.2 runs per game in their last 10 matchups, which definitely contributed to todays outcome.
Finally some good news! Been waiting all season for Andujar to break out of his slump and looks like its happenning. If he keeps hitting like this threw September the team actually has a shot at the playoffs. Those homers was placed perfectly too, couldnt of asked for better swings.
Plot twist: the sailors pitchers was actually trying to help Andujar because they felt bad for him after his performance last week 😂😂 But seriously tho good for him I guess
Oh yes because hitting homers against the sailors is such a huge accomplishment these days. Next week he’ll probably struggle against little league pitching but sure lets call him the MVP already.
