No surprise while Sri Lanka announces a team for the Bangladesh ODI series

Charith Asalanka will lead a team of 16 members of Sri Lanka against Bangladesh in the ODI series of three games, from July 2. This will be the first ODI Sri Lanka assignment since their victory in the 2-0 ODI series against Australia in February. While Sri Lanka returns to ODI after five months, they will be worried about Kusal Mendis’ shoulder injury. The R Premadasa stadium in Colombo will welcome the first two ODIs while the third ODI will be played at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium on July 8.

Although there is no Dushmantha Chameera, Sri Lanka will keep his faith in Dilshan Madushanka, Asitha Fernando, Eshan Malingu in the Bowling Pace unit. At home, Sri Lanka has lost only two Odi against Bangladesh since 1986. Currently, they are on a sequence of six consecutive victories against Bangladesh at home.
