The competition received good support from the President of the ICC, Jay Shah, the Cricket Control Council in India (BCCI) and the Cricket Council of England and the Wales (BCE).
Meanwhile, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) did not send the CEO of Pakistan Super League (PSL) or any other official in Reunion in London last month, and the PSL champions are unlikely to receive an invitation to global competition.
“Pakistan Cricket Board was invited to send its CEO of the PSL for a meeting held on the sidelines of the Cricket Connect meeting in London last month, but nobody arose,” said the source cited by PTI.

The source said that the ILT20 CEOs, the Big Bash League (BBL), the hundreds, SA20, Major League Cricket (MLC) and other leagues were part of the meeting, which was organized by England and the Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and they discussed fixed windows for their tournaments and the availability of players abroad.

The Pakistan Naqvi Mohin did not assist regularly to ICC – Source meetings
According to the same report, the chief of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, refrained from attending the ICC meetings regularly since Jay Shah took care of the global organization.
“The PCB did not arise and the president strangely Mohin Naqvi did not regularly attend the ICC meetings,” he said.
In particular, Jay Shah began his mandate as president of the International Cricket Council (ICC) on December 1 after being unanimously elected for the role.
Returning to the club world championship, the competition is accelerated by the BCCI, the ECB and other advice to derail the plans of the Saudi Cricket League, which is likely to receive funding of $ 400 million in private investors for the start.
