Ier forced, stopped his car and signed the poster to do the day of the fan. He left later when he was applauded by the fans who were there to see him.
The star player has had a good time in the past year, a period when he has achieved a lot, especially as a skipper. After being abandoned central contracts from the BCCI, Iyer won the IPL with Kolkata Knight Riders and followed it by winning the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy, the Ranji trophy and the Irani trophy during the 2024/25 season.
In the 2025 IPL auctions, Shreyas was sold for a huge 26.75 INR crores, the second higher for a player. He had a brilliant season with Punjab Kings in the 18th edition of the largest cricket league, where he led them to their first final since 2014 and scored more than 600 points at a striking pace of more than 170.
