  1. For those who dont know, Wilkins had 9 sacks and 59 tackles last season with Miami. His cap hit would be around 14-16 million depending on the structure. The Raiders have aproximately 23 million in cap space right now so it’s definately doable if they restructure a couple contracts.

  2. But why would the dolphins even release him in the first place?? Something doesn’t add up here. Teams don’t just let go of good defensive lineman for no reason. I think we should be more concerned about what Miami knows that we dont

  3. Oh yeah, because tiptoeing has ALWAYS worked out so well for us before. I’m sure this cautious approach will definately lead to a playoff run… just like the last 20 years right?

  4. Are you kidding me?? We’re being way to cautious here. Either sign him or move on! This tiptoeing around is exactly whats wrong with our managment. We need to be aggresive not scared of every little risk

  5. I get the hesitation but honestly Wilkins would be a solid addition. His pass rush skills are legit and we desperatly need help on the interior line. Yes there’s some risk involved but what signing doesnt have risk? At some point you gotta pull the trigger on talent when its available.

  6. Ah yes, the Raiders famous “on tiptoe” strategy. Because nothing says championship caliber team like being afraid of your own shadow. I’m sure this bold approach will strike fear into the hearts of our opponents.

  7. So we’re tiptoeing now? What’s next, we gonna ask him nicely if he wants to play football? Maybe send him a formal invitation with a bow on it lol

  8. Finaly some good news for the raiders! Wilkins is exactly what we need on that defensive line man. Smart move by the front office imo
